Sometimes we see people around us who seem to be happy and lively but no one knows what’s going through their lives, what is facing, and what is troubling them. There are lots of people around us who are suffering from depression and we even don’t know about it.
What depression actually is?
It is classified as a mood disorder, we can say it is a feeling of sadness, anger, frustration, loss that affects our daily life. Every person experiences depression in a different way.
It may affect your daily work, which can result in losing time and lower productivity. It can also influence relationships and some people do also face chronic health conditions.
Feeling down and upset in everyone’s life but if you’re feeling hopeless and won on a daily basis that can lead you to depression. Depression is considered a serious medical condition and it can even get worse without medical help. Major depression can affect your mood and body.
Depression symptoms include:
- Feeling sad or depressed mood
- Loss of interest
- Loss of pleasure in activities
- Weight gain or loss unrelated to dieting
- Trouble in sleeping or sleep a lot
- Loss of energy or increased fatigue
- Increase in purposeless physical activity
- Feeling worthless.
- Difficulty in thinking and making decisions
- Thoughts of suicide
Now a day we are hearing much news regarding people committing suicide due to depression. People who seem to be happy, we-settled, and famous are also facing this in their lives.
It is not necessary that the person who is happy in front of the world is actually living a normal life so we all should keep an eye on our surroundings like our family, friends, and neighbors.
We should observe their changed behaviors, anger, and the things that are troubling them. There are many people who need someone to hear them, medical counseling, love care, and time.
